I can create good lighting design with the input of a director, scene designer, costume designer, or any collaborator—or so I've been told. But I cannot create great story-telling without the full collaboration of a strong design team. Indeed, much of my effort is spent enhancing this collaborative process, much of my time and product meant to facilitate communication and encourage input from other members of the design team.
