Synthesizing all these areas into one holistic design is the final product, something prepared for in the studio but only realized with all the participants in place—including the audience. This involves a great deal of technique and technology—the nuts, bolts, and paint brushes of my design concentration. While these can be powerful tools, it is my understanding of how, when, and why I use them to make my designs unique.
